We are wanting show prospects and proper evaluations can not be made until at least 8 to 10 weeks of age minimum, no matter who you are. If someone tells you that a puppy is show quality before they are 8 weeks old they are not being honest. People with experience within the dog world know this, inexperienced people will tell you otherwise and try to justify their reasoning. So when looking at a show potential puppy, please remember that markings alone does not make a show dog. Other key elements are AKC conformation standards, temperament and type. Conformation includes the way the dog is put together from head to tail. This includes shoulder placement, top line, movement and in it. That would include becoming Therapy Dogs as well as easily trained well behaved pets. Our dogs are tested for the breed specific health issues. This includes hips and patellas (knees) which can cause big issues in dogs. Our years of experience has taught us how to match dogs to get the best puppies in not only looks but temperaments. This is not something that can be taught overnight, it is only something that you can get over time. We strive hard to produce the best most well rounded dogs we can because we know that over all first and foremost our dogs will be companions in the home to families, children, empty nester's, single people who just want some company.
First and foremost they will be a part of your family and that is the MOST IMPORTANT PART OF ALL!!! overall balanced look. This is what makes a pretty package. PLEASE DO NOT BE FOOLED - GET INFORMED BEFORE MAKING SUCH A COSTLY PURCHASE!
